COLLECTION SYSTEM SUPERINTENDENT
The Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary District is accepting applications for Collection System Superintendent. The position requires at minimum a State of Iowa Grade I Waste Water Certification and able to achieve a grade II Waste Water Certification within 12 months. Must be able to obtain grade IV Collection System Operator Certification through the Iowa Water and Environment Association in time designated. Applicant must have at least five years of experience in waste water collections system maintenance including gravity and pressure lines and lift stations. Should have experience managing employees and work with the public. Must be able to type, and work with word process, spreadsheets, SCADA, GPS, GIS and other computer skills. Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License and necessary endorsements within the first 60 days of employment and maintain the license throughout your employment.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicant must have at least five years of experience in waste water collections system maintenance including gravity and pressure lines and lift stations.
Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
